Mukasa Agrosolutions and Fish Farm Ltd is an agribusiness and fish farming company operating in Kabwe. The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to support its plumbing and water infrastructure requirements.

About the Role

The Plumber will be responsible for carrying out plumbing and pipe-fitting work across the company's operations. The successful candidate should have strong practical skills, be able to troubleshoot plumbing problems effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing & Pipe Fitting

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and pipework.

• Carry out pipe-fitting and related plumbing installations.

• Inspect plumbing systems and identify faults or leaks.

• Repair damaged or defective pipes, fittings, valves, and related components.

• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure plumbing systems remain operational.

• Ensure plumbing work is completed safely and to an acceptable standard.

Pump & Water Systems

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of water pumps and related systems.

• Identify and troubleshoot basic pump and water-system faults.

• Monitor plumbing and water systems and report maintenance requirements.

• Support other water infrastructure activities as required.

Problem-Solving & General Duties

• Diagnose plumbing problems and implement appropriate solutions.

• Work independently and responsibly while completing assigned tasks.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.

• Perform other plumbing-related duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in plumbing and pipe fitting.

• Practical experience carrying out plumbing repairs and installations.

• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and responsibly.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, Bemba, and Nyanja.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge and practical experience in pump operation will be an added advantage.
