Cleanergy is seeking a creative, energetic, and field-oriented Marketing Associate to support its growing sales and marketing team.
About the Role
The Marketing Associate will play a key role in building brand awareness and generating customer interest through community-based marketing activities and digital marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on position that combines field activations with social media management, content creation, and marketing coordination.
The successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time engaging with communities while also supporting Cleanergy's online presence and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Field Marketing & Brand Activation
- Plan, organize, and execute marketing campaigns in residential communities.
- Set up promotional stands and distribute flyers, posters, and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate community outreach activities and promotional events.
- Identify high-traffic locations for outdoor advertising, including banners and wall signage.
- Gather customer feedback and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Digital Marketing
- Manage and grow Cleanergy's social media platforms.
- Create engaging digital content that increases brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Respond to customer inquiries received through social media channels.
- Design promotional graphics, posters, banners, and marketing materials using Canva and other design software.
Sales & Marketing Support
- Work closely with the Sales team to generate leads and support agent recruitment.
- Track marketing activities and campaign performance.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing expenditure and campaign outcomes.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations based on field observations and customer feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant experience).
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- 1–3 years of experience in field marketing, brand activation, or community engagement.
- Experience in industries such as FMCG, energy, telecommunications, or similar sectors.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Practical experience designing marketing materials using Canva.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

- Fluency in English and Nyanja or Bemba.
- Willingness to travel regularly for field marketing activities.

- Cooking appliances, LPG, or solar energy products.
