The Government Liaison & Public Relations Officer will serve as the primary link between the company and government institutions, ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will coordinate licensing processes, manage official communications, and represent the company in engagements with government agencies.
Build and maintain effective relationships with government ministries, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate communication between the company and government institutions.
Represent the company during official meetings, inspections, and regulatory engagements.
Facilitate timely responses to government enquiries and correspondence.
Coordinate applications, renewals, amendments, and compliance requirements for mining licences and permits.
Monitor compliance with mining legislation, government regulations, and industry policies.
Ensure all statutory documentation is prepared and submitted within required timelines.
Support regulatory inspections and compliance audits.
Prepare official correspondence, reports, and communication documents.
Promote a positive corporate image through effective stakeholder engagement.
Support management in handling public relations matters.
Assist in developing communication strategies that strengthen relationships with external stakeholders.
Applicants should possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations or a related field from a recognized institution.
Affiliate membership with a relevant professional body.
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum five (5) years' relevant experience in government liaison or public relations within the mining industry.
Experience managing mining licences and permits, including applications, renewals, amendments, and inspections.
Good understanding of Zambia's mining laws, regulations, and government procedures.

Strong report writing and official document drafting abilities.

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Administration Department while serving as the Personal Assistant to the HR-Admin Supervisor. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, attendance administration, and other human resource functions to ensure efficient HR operations.
Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
Prepare employment contracts and other HR correspondence.
Support employee offboarding processes and exit documentation.
Monitor employee attendance and leave records.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
Assist with the preparation of HR reports and administrative documents.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and departmental schedules.
Support compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
Assist with work permit and Temporary Employment Permit (TEP) applications where required.
Respond to employee enquiries and provide administrative support to the HR department.
Perform any other duties assigned by the HR-Admin Supervisor.
Applicants should possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
Valid membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on experience in Human Resource Management.
Experience in the mining or construction industry will be an added advantage.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, contract administration, personnel records management, and attendance management.
Experience supporting work permit and Temporary Employment Permit (TEP) applications will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Zambian labour laws and regulations.
