The company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join its operations at the KCM Project – 4 Shaft Operations in Chililabombwe.

• Shift Boss “O” / RBS – 3 Positions

• Rock Breaker Operator – 3 Positions

Shift Boss “O” / RBS

About the Role

The Shift Boss "O" / RBS will supervise underground mining operations, ensure safe blasting activities, coordinate mining crews, and maintain compliance with mine safety standards while supporting efficient production.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Grade 12 Certificate.

• Valid Silicosis Certificate.

• Valid Blasting Licence.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 4 years' relevant work experience, preferably in underground mining.

• Experience working in the Tramming Department will be an added advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

• Good knowledge of underground mining operations.

• Excellent safety awareness and compliance.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.

Rock Breaker Operator

About the Role

The Rock Breaker Operator will be responsible for safely operating rock-breaking equipment in underground mining operations while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and supporting efficient production activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Operator's Training Certificate.

• Valid Blasting Licence.

• Valid Silicosis Certificate.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience.

• Underground mining experience will be an added advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

• Competence in operating rock-breaking equipment.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.
