The company is expanding its sales team and is seeking motivated individuals to promote its financial products and build relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
Bayport Financial Services Zambia is recruiting Direct Sales Agents to support its sales activities across multiple locations.
The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating and qualifying sales leads, promoting financial products and services, maintaining customer relationships and contributing towards sales targets within their assigned territories.
This is a commission-based opportunity, with additional sales incentives linked to performance.

Zambezi
Generate and qualify sales leads within the assigned target market.
Identify prospective customers and actively promote Bayport's financial products and services.
Engage potential clients and clearly explain available financial products and services.
Apply effective selling and persuasion techniques to convert qualified prospects into customers.
Work towards achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets.
Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Follow up with potential clients throughout the sales process.
Encourage repeat business by maintaining strong customer relationships.
Provide professional and responsive customer service.
Gather relevant market intelligence from customers and prospects.
Provide feedback on customer needs, market conditions and sales opportunities.
Report market information and sales activities to support the development of effective sales strategies.
Applicants should possess:
A minimum of a General Certificate of Education (GCE).
Basic selling skills and the ability to persuade and influence potential customers.
Previous sales experience is advantageous.
Experience working within a financial institution is an added advantage.
Previous experience as a Direct Sales Agent will be considered an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate:
Basic sales and lead-generation skills.
Customer acquisition and relationship-management abilities.
Ability to communicate financial products clearly to customers.
Ability to identify and qualify potential leads.
Basic understanding of sales targets and performance-driven environments.
Ability to gather and communicate market information.
The successful candidates should demonstrate:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Confidence when engaging with customers.
Persuasiveness and a results-oriented approach.
