About the Company

Falane Solutions Limited is recruiting 100 General Workers to support its operations at M Phase along New Kasama/Chifwema Road in Lusaka.

The company is seeking physically fit, hardworking and dependable individuals who can assist with various manual and operational activities while maintaining workplace safety, cleanliness and efficiency.

About the Role

The General Worker will perform a variety of manual tasks under the direction of supervisors and assist skilled personnel with daily operational activities.

This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for individuals who are physically capable of performing manual work and are willing to learn, work as part of a team and follow workplace procedures.

Key Responsibilities

General Operations

• Carry out general manual and physical tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Assist skilled workers and other team members with daily operational activities.

• Complete assigned duties efficiently and within stipulated timeframes.

• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Materials & Equipment Handling

• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.

• Transport and organise materials within designated work areas.

• Handle materials safely and responsibly.

• Report damaged equipment or materials to supervisors.

Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within designated work areas.

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

• Report unsafe conditions, hazards or damaged equipment promptly.

• Use appropriate safety practices when carrying out manual tasks.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding manual labour.

• Reliability and punctuality.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work.

• Willingness to learn new practical skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good discipline and a positive attitude towards assigned responsibilities.

• Previous experience in general labour, construction, manufacturing or warehousing will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
