MartMoney Finance is seeking four Graduate Trainees to join its team in Lusaka. The successful candidates will gain practical exposure to lending and credit operations, including evaluating loan applications, managing customer information, acquiring new clients, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting debt collection activities.
This opportunity is particularly suited to recent graduates looking to build a career in finance, lending, credit management, business development, or customer relationship management.
Evaluate loan applications and assess customers' eligibility for financing.
Review customer information and use sound judgement when determining creditworthiness.
Assess customers' reliability and ability to meet their loan obligations.
Make appropriate recommendations and decisions regarding loan applications.
Track and maintain accurate credit and loan information.
Ensure customer and loan records are kept up to date and accurately documented.
Support effective administration of the lending process.
Identify and acquire new clients through appropriate business development activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Support customer retention by providing professional and responsive service.
Clearly explain loan terms and conditions to customers and ensure they understand their obligations.
Support effective collection of outstanding loans.
Follow up with customers regarding their repayment obligations.
Maintain professional relationships while ensuring collection activities are conducted effectively.
Applicants should possess:
A recently completed degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Good judgement and the ability to assess customer reliability when determining loan eligibility.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive customer relationships.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
The ability to explain financial and loan-related information clearly to customers.
Experience in SME lending.
A valid driver's licence.
Credit assessment and decision-making.
Customer relationship management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
Client acquisition and business development.
Debt collection and follow-up.
Professionalism and integrity.
Good judgement and problem-solving ability.
