Key Responsibilities

Depending on the position, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

  • Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans.

  • Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.

  • Support learners' academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

  • Participate in school programmes, meetings, and extracurricular activities.

  • Maintain accurate learner records and reports.

  • Promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.

  • Uphold the school's policies, values, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Head of School (1 Position)

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, Secondary Education, or a related field.

Requirements

  • 40 years of age or older.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the education sector, including school leadership and management.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead academic excellence, staff development, and school operations.

  • Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Primary School Educators (6 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma in Primary Education.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education is an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience, preferably in an international school.

  • Excellent classroom management and lesson delivery skills.

  • Strong communication and learner assessment skills.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Early Childhood Educators (6 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

  • Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.

  • Knowledge of child-centred and play-based learning approaches.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Music and Arts Teachers (3 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma in Music, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.

  • Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.

  • Ability to teach music, visual arts, and creative performance.

  • Ability to organise school performances, concerts, and exhibitions.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Chinese Language Teachers (3 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies, Education, or a related field.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in Chinese Language.

  • Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin.

  • Experience teaching children in an international or primary school is an added advantage.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration (where applicable).

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Reading Teachers (4 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.

  • Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.

  • Proven ability to develop learners' reading and literacy skills.

  • Knowledge of phonics-based reading programmes and early literacy development.

  • Ability to assess reading levels and implement intervention programmes.

  • Excellent communication and learner support skills.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Special Needs Teachers (4 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting learners with diverse learning needs.

  • Experience developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

  • Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.

Teacher Assistants (4 Positions)

Qualification

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to support classroom instruction and learner supervision.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid TCZ practising licence/registration.

  • Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit.
