Multiple Engineering & Construction Positions – Synani Engineering Company Limited

About the Company

Synani Engineering Company Limited is recruiting qualified and experienced personnel for a two-month project scheduled to commence in October 2026.

The recruitment covers civil engineering, construction, mechanical works, metal fabrication and bricklaying positions across Ndola, Kitwe and Mansa.

Available Positions

1. Site Engineer – Civil Works (2 Positions)

The Site Engineers will support the planning, supervision and execution of civil construction works, including general buildings and housing projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in structural design and construction of general buildings and housing.

• Registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

• Valid practising licence from the Engineering Registration Board.

• Familiarity with the construction of Bio-Gas Digesters and Anaerobic Baffled Reactors (ABR) is required.

• Experience with DEWATS, green infrastructure or circular design implementation will be an advantage.

2. Site Foreman – Civil Works (2 Positions)

The Site Foremen will oversee construction activities and help ensure civil works are executed according to project requirements and standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction of general buildings and housing, including civil works.

• Registration with EIZ.

• Valid practising licence from the Engineering Registration Board.

• Familiarity with construction of Bio-Gas Digesters and Anaerobic Baffled Reactors (ABR) is required.

• Experience with DEWATS, green infrastructure or circular design implementation will be an advantage.

3. Bricklayers (3 Positions)

The Bricklayers will undertake general building and masonry works as part of the project's construction activities.

Requirements:

• Craft Certificate in Bricklaying or General Construction Works.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in general building construction.

• Registration with EIZ.

• Valid practising licence from the Engineering Registration Board.

4. Site Foreman – Mechanical Works (2 Positions)

The Site Foremen – Mechanical Works will oversee structural steel fabrication and erection activities and support the execution of mechanical construction works.

Requirements:

• Technician or Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication and Welding.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and erection.

• Registration with EIZ.

• Valid practising licence from the Engineering Registration Board.

• Familiarity with construction of Bio-Gas Digesters and Anaerobic Baffled Reactors (ABR) is required.

• Experience with DEWATS, green infrastructure or circular design implementation will be an advantage.

5. Metal Fabricators (3 Positions)

The Metal Fabricators will undertake structural steel fabrication and erection activities in accordance with project specifications.

Requirements:

• Technician or Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication and Welding.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and erection.

• Registration with EIZ.

• Valid practising licence from the Engineering Registration Board.

Key Technical Skills

Depending on the position, candidates should have relevant experience in:

• Civil construction and structural works.

• General building and housing construction.

• Structural steel fabrication and erection.

• Metal fabrication and welding.

• Bio-Gas Digester construction.

• Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR) construction.

• DEWATS and green infrastructure implementation will be an advantage.

• Circular design implementation will be an advantage.

• Construction site supervision and coordination.

Work Environment

The successful candidates will work on a short-term project across Ndola, Kitwe and Mansa. The positions involve practical construction and engineering activities and require candidates to work effectively within project teams and comply with applicable professional, technical and safety requirements.
