The Central Condition Monitoring Analyst will provide specialist support within the asset strategy and reliability environment, with a dedicated focus on condition monitoring, machine reliability and defect elimination.
The role will support predictive maintenance by analysing machine health information, oil sampling results, telematics and condition monitoring data to identify potential failures and recommend appropriate preventative maintenance interventions.
Provide technical assistance to maintenance planners regarding preventative maintenance content and execution.
Manage scheduled oil sampling data and recommend appropriate preventative maintenance interventions.
Implement and close out condition monitoring recommendations with customers.
Analyse machine telematics data and application information to identify potential reliability concerns.
Aggregate and analyse available data to develop informed preventative maintenance recommendations.
Apply available tools, technologies, technical knowledge and experience to improve machine reliability.
Understand and effectively apply the five elements of condition monitoring.
Manage VIMS data reports and machine health information.
Utilise systems and tools including Vital Information Management System (VIMS), VisionLink, Technician Toolbox (TT), and Electronic Technician (ET).
Proactively manage condition monitoring backlogs with customers.
Provide preliminary data reports to support component root-cause analysis.
Identify trends and potential defects before they develop into major equipment failures.
Develop and recommend continuous improvement solutions within condition monitoring and reliability activities.
Share technical knowledge and best practices with relevant teams and customers.
Support the effective use of technology and data-driven maintenance practices.
Applicants should possess:
A full Grade 12 certificate.
A Diploma or Advanced Technician Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair, or an equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of practical experience working with earthmoving machinery/mechanics.
Sound knowledge of machines, components, machine operating systems and equipment applications.
Basic understanding of business and financial principles.
Candidates should demonstrate:
Strong machine and component diagnostic knowledge.
Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance knowledge.
Good analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
Good report-writing and presentation skills.
Computer literacy and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Barloworld Equipment Zambia is seeking an experienced security professional to oversee site security and asset protection activities. The position will support the protection of employees, customers, equipment, inventory, facilities, information and customer property across the company's operations.
The Senior Security Site Supervisor will lead day-to-day security operations while maintaining a comprehensive framework for security, risk management, loss prevention, investigations, compliance and asset protection.
The successful candidate will supervise security personnel and contractors, conduct risk assessments, oversee security technology and respond to incidents while ensuring that security activities comply with company policies and applicable requirements.
Manage daily security operations and maintain a disciplined and visible security presence.
Supervise, guide and coordinate security officers.
Ensure appropriate security post manning and coordinate relief arrangements.
Train new security officers on site instructions, security procedures and emergency response requirements.
Maintain effective communication and coordination across security teams.
Conduct periodic security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews.
Carry out regular site inspections and identify security weaknesses.
Maintain and update the site's security risk register.
Coordinate security audits and follow up on identified actions.
Recommend proportionate physical, procedural and technology-based security improvements.
Develop and implement controls aimed at preventing theft, fraud, inventory shrinkage, fuel losses, vandalism and unauthorised removal of company assets.
Support wall-to-wall stock counts and cycle counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and other potential losses.
Strengthen controls around access to equipment, inventory, facilities and other company assets.
Take immediate command of security incidents until responsibility is formally handed over to relevant authorities.
Report security breaches promptly through established channels.
Conduct confidential, evidence-based investigations.
Review CCTV footage, obtain statements and gather relevant evidence.
Prepare clear and comprehensive investigation reports.
Oversee CCTV, alarm systems, access-control systems, visitor management and vehicle-tracking systems.
Ensure security systems are routinely tested and maintained.
Coordinate prompt repairs when faults are identified.
Monitor the effectiveness of security technology across the site.
Manage guarding, armed-response and other security service providers.
Monitor contractors against approved contracts and service-level agreements.
Review contractor licensing, compliance and performance.
Maintain effective working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company security policies and ethical requirements.
Support anti-bribery, fraud prevention and other internal control measures.
Maintain occurrence books, incident registers and visitor records.
Prepare daily and monthly security performance reports.
Ensure security activities are properly documented and traceable.

A Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Military Science, or a related discipline.
At least 7 years of relevant security experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
Experience in multi-site, industrial, mining, logistics, warehouse or heavy-equipment environments is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in physical security, loss prevention, contractor management, access control and emergency response.
Knowledge of security technology, including CCTV and access-control systems.
A valid driver's licence.
Ability to travel between locations and respond to significant security incidents outside normal working hours when required.
