Job Overview

Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) is seeking a qualified and compassionate Nurse to provide quality healthcare services to staff and support health and wellness initiatives within its operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering primary healthcare, responding to medical emergencies, maintaining medical records, and promoting workplace health and safety, particularly in a remote working environment.

This position is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional who is comfortable working independently and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services to employees and authorised personnel.

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with common illnesses and injuries.

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid where required.

• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare medical reports.

• Promote workplace health education and preventive healthcare programmes.

• Monitor and manage medical supplies and equipment.

• Refer patients to specialised healthcare facilities when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and health regulations.

• Support occupational health, safety, and wellness initiatives.

• Perform other clinical duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

• Valid practising licence issued by the relevant regulatory authority.

• Minimum of 3 years' clinical nursing experience.

• Experience working in remote or rural healthcare settings will be an added advantage.

• Experience in primary healthcare, emergency care, or public health.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
