About the Opportunity
Barrick Lumwana Mining Company is inviting applications from Local Employment Registered (LER) candidates for the position of Operator – 100t Haul Units. This role is ideal for experienced heavy equipment operators with a strong commitment to safety and efficient mining operations.
Successful candidates will operate 100-ton haul trucks while adhering to mine safety procedures, operational standards, and company policies to support productive mining activities.
Position Available
Operator – 100t Haul Units (18 Positions)
Key Requirements
Applicants must possess:
Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Valid certification to operate 100-ton Haul Units.
Sound knowledge of safe working procedures and mining operations.
Ability to successfully pass Psychometric/Dover Tests.
Certificates of service in the same role will be an added advantage.
Desired Competencies
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work in a demanding mining environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
High level of responsibility and discipline.
Ability to follow operational procedures and instructions.
Reliable and performance-driven.
