About the Role

The PSV Driver will be responsible for safely and courteously transporting passengers along designated routes and according to established schedules.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, comply with road safety requirements and demonstrate professional conduct when interacting with passengers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Passenger Transportation

• Safely transport passengers along designated routes.

• Adhere to established transport schedules and assigned routes.

• Ensure passengers are transported in a professional, safe and courteous manner.

• Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.

• Communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues.

Vehicle Safety & Maintenance

• Conduct appropriate checks to ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy.

• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.

• Report vehicle defects, mechanical concerns or safety issues promptly.

• Follow applicable road safety requirements and company procedures.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

• Treat passengers and colleagues with courtesy and respect.

• Demonstrate responsible and defensive driving practices.

• Comply with company policies and transport procedures.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A valid and current PSV Driver's Licence.

• A demonstrated record of safe and responsible driving.

• Good time-management and punctuality.

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous passenger transportation experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
